I was just about to go to bed, but I figured that those who don't know me in real life, won't know my facebook, so they won't know that I put my website back up now that I actually have free time to keep up with it. And now that I have free time, I can update my LiveJournal more often as well.

Wow, it's been a while since I last posted here.
I never was good with keeping up with this kind of thing.
It's not like I have anything useful to say that other people will find interesting.
Most, if not all, of what I post here are my thoughts on TV shows, movies, and books.

But I am going to try to update more.
See, I probably would've updated more in the first place, but I had classes, and I needed to focus on that.
My last final was yesterday, so I'm free until the fall! Yay! hahaha *grin*
Anyways, from the middle of February all the way to yesterday, I didn't watch any TV! D:
I know, how can that happen? I *love* TV so much! But I the idea of failing is a pretty good motivator, don't you think? d: haha


But anyways, I recently found out about Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along blog!
Ohmigosh, how totally freaking awesome is that!? I know, right? ><

Neil Patrick Harris is so freaking hilarious! His character Barney on How I Met Your Mother has been my favorite character for that show since the first episode. But back to Dr. Horrible -- I heard that there is going to be a sequel! *gasp* I can't wait to see it! *big grin*
And I really want the DVD! D: I am definitely going to try and buy it this summer. I mean, special features -- come on! lol

This was directed by Joss Whedon (Buffy, Angel) and was made during the Writers' Strike.

I'm going to be selling some of my PC games on eBay. Right now, I'm starting with The Sims 2 Holiday Edition, and these expansion packs: The Sims 2: University, The Sims 2: Nightlife, and The Sims 2: Open for Business.

I bought The Sims 2 Holiday Edition at Target, and everything that it came with is still there. Nothing is missing. It may be used, but the condition looks brand new.
There are no scratches or fingerprints on any of the discs. I have included pictures of The Sims 2 and its' expansion packs, but in the pictures, I smudged the serial number with Photoshop so you can't see it unless you buy it, because anyone can steal the serial, but I can assure you that it is definitely there, on the back of the booklet.

The rest of The Sims 2 expansion packs are in the same condition -- looks like brand new. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference if you mixed these with new ones.

Wow! Last night's episode of Heroes was awesome! The end of the episode had me protesting out loud! My brother&sub1; thinks that Arthur didn't do anything to Hiro, and that Hiro just yelled out in surprise, or whatever, but I think that since Hiro found out what Arthur did, he needed to warn Angela. I know that it's too late, but Hiro doesn't know that, so I think Arthur either wiped his memory, or took his powers. I'm hoping it's not the latter option, because that would be so freaking horrible! *distraught* I can write more about this episode, but I'm really tired, and maybe I will elaborate more tomorrow. The same episode that was on last night is on the G4TV channel at 10:00pm tonight. I'm going to watch it again, and then maybe I'll elaborate on my review. But at least I have something posted for now.

Apparently a baby's sock is cute and makes people want babies. xD haha *grin* At least it does for Lily and Marshall. And Ted, but we already knew that. And Robin, albeit reluctantly, but still unsure. And Barney, I think. *laughs* This episode was funny, but similar to my review of The Big Bang Theory, I thought that this episode was average. It was funny, but it doesn't compare to the other episodes, IMHO. Drunk/Baby Lily was funny, though. She must have been really drunk! haha *grin*

Sheldon vs. Penny. Oh, it's so on! *laughs*
We learn something new about Sheldon every week. I mean, we learn about the other characters too, but mostly Sheldon and his crazy (but funny!) quirks. *grin*
If you ever have a conflict with Sheldon, just call his mother -- she'll make him apologize! *laughs* This episode was funny, but it wasn't 'the stitch in your side from laughing so hard' funny. That award goes to Season 2, Episode 5 - The Euclid Alternative, IMHO. I'm not saying this episode was bad or not funny -- it was good, and I laughed when the situation called for it. Basically, it was just average. I'm just saying. Anyways, I can't wait until the next episode. (:

I love characters in TV, movies, and books that have a cynical and sarcastic sense of humor! I can't even begin to describe how much I love that kind of dry wit in a character. *grin*
I googled several key words to see if I can find a term, or examples of this kind of humor in a character, and I found this site. [Deadpan Snarker]
(As a sidenote, I just want to mention that I'm actually pretty good when it comes to searching. My favorite search engine is Google, by the way.)
Anyways, I just wanted to share this, because I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person who loves a Deadpan Snarker. *grin* The link I provided gives both a term with a definition of this type of character, and along with it, a list of characters who have this type of humor. I'm only going to list characters that I see on this list that I know and love.


The article mentions Gil Grissom from CSI and Don Flack from CSI NY. I watch CSI, and I want to watch CSI NY, but I haven't had a chance to really look for it online, but what with my love for Deadpan Snarkers and all, now I'm really determined to start watching CSI NY. What do I love more than Deadpan Snarky characters? Deadpan Snarky characters in a Crime Drama, that's what! *grin*

John Munch! Yes! Oh my gosh, I love Munch! I'm definitely not surprised to see him listed here. *smiles fondly*

I would be floored if our favorite snarky, sarcastic, ass of a doctor wasn't listed. Yeah, you know who I'm talking about -- Dr. Gregory House! And Wilson! I love it when he goes all sarcastic on House. It's so funny! I think it's funnier coming from Wilson, only because you don't expect it as much as you would from Dr. House. Wilson is awesome, man! haha *grin*

Hm, I never pegged Laverne as the Deadpan Snarker kind. Dr. Cox I totally expected, but I never really considered Laverne. I haven't watched that show in at least a month, so I can't really remember much other than her gossiping and mhmm-ing. *grin*

Haha, yeah! Geoffrey from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air most definitely holds the title of a Deadpan Snarker, that's for sure! *grin*

Veronica Mars from Veronica Mars! *big grin* I love that girl! Man, she is epitome of Deadpan Snarker, and I love it! Not only is she classified as a Deadpan Snarker (and let's not forget the rest of the cast, because basically everyone holds that claim), but she is a private detective! Two of my favorite combinations! Okay, well maybe one and a half, because I like official detectives more than the private detectives, but that doesn't make me love her any less. *grin*

I'm going to have to watch Supernatural, if only to see the brothers in all their Deadpan Snarkiness. *wry grin*

I've only seen two episodes of Fringe, so I can't really vouch for Peter Bishop being a Deadpan Snarker. Ever since The Mentalist aired, I chose to watch that in favor of Fringe, which is sad, but I have no regrets. Crime Drama trumps Crime Sci-fi. No contest there. Besides, I can always watch the episodes of Fringe I've missed online. My choice of website to watch TV shows is Surf the Channel.

Oh my gosh, yes! Shawn Spencer! I love this guy! This character is hilarious! Shawn is my all-time favorite TV character to read in Fan Fiction! I love reading Shawn!Whump like crazy! haha *big grin*

Oh man, I haven't seen Daria in so long! I miss that show. *frown* But yeah, Daria is the Queen of Deadpan Snarkers in a Cartoon.

*glass breaks* Sorry, that was my very high pitched 'squee'. My favorite character in my favorite book and my all time, number one favorite fandom for Fan Fiction is Severus Snape! Holy crap, I love this character like freaking crazy! I can't elaborate, or I'll just go on forever, and I want to finish this in time to watch The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother tonight.

And we come to who else that got me started on this whole Deadpan Snarker search, but Riley Poole from National Treasure. Man, this guy is funny! I mean, not only do I love his cynical and sarcastic sense of humor, but he's good looking! I love nerds. Or is it geeks? I can never remember what the difference was, and me being who I am, I usually would google it, but I'm on a tight schedule here.

Stephen Colbert! Man, that guy is hilarious! I love both him and Jon Stewart. Together they will snark the world! haha, I just made that up right now, and I can't seem to care whether or not that even makes sense. lol

I love a character who not only is a Deadpan Snarker, but is also Scottish. It must be the accent that makes that kind of humor more annunciated. *grin*

Today is my third and last trip to the Dentist. I'm getting three cavities filled today. Before that, I had four filled, and then before that, just one. It's not my fault my mom never bothered making an appointment with the Dentist. I mean, I think it's been at least three or four years since I've last been to the Dentist, and that's not counting this year. I finally mentioned to her that she should make an appointment. Anyways, it's not as bad as I thought it would be, but it's rather uncomfortable.
If I wasn't allergic to wheat, dairy, nuts, rice, and some other ingredients that aren't as important to name, I would say that it's kind of ironic that I have a Dentist appointment on Halloween. But it's not, because I can't eat candy anyways, and I don't even like candy that much to be honest. Tic-Tacs are the only thing that I eat that come close to being candy. So I'm not upset that I can't eat all that sugar.
I usually go out for Halloween to hang out with my friends, since college keeps up pretty busy. And I like taking my little brother out for Halloween. I like that he looks up to me. Being a big sister to him is fun! haha *grin*

Hey, so today is Halloween.
I don't think I'll do anything tonight. Or maybe I will, I don't know. I don't usually do anything for Halloween anymore, and if I did, it was only to hang out with my friends. But If I do do anything, it'll probably be just walking my little brother¹ around the block. It's not like I'll be eating any candy, since I can't really have candy, what with my allergies and aversion to chocolate and all. But I might dress up for fun. Maybe I'll put on that light purple, [lilac] dress and wear my brown boots with black leggings. I never wore that dress before, and I really like it a lot, so this could be fun.
At first, I wanted to be a Mob Boss, which got me thinking of The Godfather. I never did see that movie, and I want to see it if only so I can talk about it with someone or whatever. I don't know. Anyways, then my brother² suggested that I be an FBI agent, like Seeley Booth on Bones. I was like, "Yeah!", and I was pretty excited, but I don't have the right attire or whatever.
So that's when I figured I'd wear that dress. I couldn't really find an occasion to wear it on, so this could be my only chance. I mean, I'm not the dress-wearing type, and I'm definitely not a girly-girl, that's for certain. :P And I don't even like purple anymore. My favorite color is blue. Okay, I don't not like purple, I just don't like it as much. And I lilac is even worse than purple, but the way the dress looks makes up for how I feel about the color. ^^;; Later.

Holy freaking crap!!! Oh my gosh, I was practically squealing during some scenes of Heroes, no lie! :P
Oh man, I love Sylar in this episode! I knew he was going to go save Peter, I just knew it! I also knew that Peter wasn't really going to leave Sylar there, even if he didn't have any powers. They're brothers. And speaking of brothers, I think I squealed when Peter was surprised that Sylar came to save him, and Sylar told him that's what brothers do, and oh man, that just got me so happy! *big grin* And only for a minute did I believe that Sylar turned to Arthur's side, but when Peter fell out of that window and survived, I knew that Sylar was just faking.
Matt didn't die! Matt didn't die! Matt didn't die! Okay, I forgot, or I actually don't think I knew that Matt could put images in someone's mind. If I knew that, then I wouldn't have thought that he was dead, but he's not, and he can! That's so cool! But Maury is dead... I never really liked him, but he didn't want his son dead, and stood up to Arthur. I wonder if he knew that he was going to die, and if he did, would he still have protected Matt? Based on how Maury sticks up for his son, I can only assume that he would have, but who really knows, and honestly, who really cares? I still don't like him either way. lol
Heroes didn't end as dramatically as I thought it would. I mean, we all know that Hiro isn't hurt or dead. He is on a spiritual journey. It's just like what happened to Matt, except Hiro isn't painting anything.
Speaking of Hiro and Matt, I love that beatbox thing Greg and Masi did. I hope Heroes does something like that again. It was funny, and it would be cool if they did something like that with Sylar and Peter! *grin*

Life

Oh man, I love that show Life on NBC! Charlie Crews is an awesome character. I just love it when he becomes all philosophical or whatever he does. It's very funny -- especially when his partner gets annoyed. *grin* His character is just so refreshing.
Yesterday's episode was really good! First, I have to say that I love Captain Tidwell way better than Lt. Davis. The attraction Tidwell felt for Reese is subtle, but it's there. And after last night's episode, after they kissed, I'm really anxious to see what's going to happen between them.
I'm so glad that Life is moving to a new day and time. If were not aware, Life used to be on Mondays at 10pm, then moved to Fridays at the same time. Now Life is going to be on Wednesdays at 9pm. I know it coincides with Private Practice, but I'm not ashamed, nor do I regret it when I say that Life is a way better show. Besides, I can always watch the episodes I miss online. Anyways, I'm so excited! I can't wait until Wednesday! *big grin*

Heroes

Oh no! Crap! This can't be good! D: Peter lost his powers -- no, Peter's father stole his powers! Peter's father is alive! Oh my gosh, holy crap, and what the heck?!
Okay, now that I got that out of the way... *sheepish*
Oh man, I can't believe Peter's father, who is not dead by the way, stole Peter's powers -- his son! Okay, we all know that Peter will get his powers back, otherwise, and be honest, you wouldn't watch Heroes anymore. *silence* Okay, that a lie. I really would keep watching, but I still believe that Peter will get his powers back. I mean, he has to get his powers back! He's a hero, for cryinoutloud!
I'm ashamed to admit that I thought Hero really did kill Ando. ): *wince* I mean, at first, I was saying 'no way' over and over again, but I was so shocked by his actions, that I didn't think of the possibility that Hiro could have stopped time, then gone back in time to take whatever precautions in order for Hiro to make it look like he killed his best friend. But yeah, I knew in the back of my mind that Hiro would never do that. I was just so caught up, I didn't pause to consider anything.
I love Sylar. I love Peter. I may just love Sylar more than Peter, but to be honest, I think they're both equally my favorite. I totally love the fact that Sylar and Peter are brothers, and I was really glad to find out that they were working togther. That is until Peter ditched Sylar. I hope they resolve things, because I'd like to see them working together, and then if I'm lucky, acknowledge the fact that they are brothers. I hope Sylar goes after Peter, and saves him from his father. And Sylar is older than Peter, right? I assume so, because if he wasn't than Nathan would be the oldest, and therefore have some recollection of having a second brother, right? Unless the Hatiain... but anyways, I think that Sylar is older than Nathan.
My brother¹ says that since future Peter had powers, and that right there is proof that Peter will eventually get his powers back; but I mentioned that not only is future Peter dead, everything that happened could have changed the future -- especially now that the world doesn't know about these powers. But I don't know. We're just speculating. I am so totally freaking excited about this Monday's new episode of Heroes! I can hardly wait! *big grin*

How I Met Your Mother

Last Monday's episode of How I Met Your Mother wasn't as surprising as I thought it would be. I mean, I guess in the back of my mind, I think I knew that Ted and Stella weren't going to get married. To be honest, as much as I liked Stella, I'm actually kind of glad that Ted is not going to marry her because this means that we can expect not only more episodes, but more seasons of How I Met Your Mother.
I'm really hoping that Barney gets a chance with Robyn. Don't get me wrong, I love how Barney is with women -- I mean, it's part of what makes his character so funny! -- but come on, don't tell me that you don't want to see Barney have his first serious relationship since he started wearing suits, because I can tell that Barney really likes Robyn. I've felt this way ever since that episode where Ted and Barney became friends again.
Anyways, I can't wait to see what this Monday's episode of HIMYM has to bring.

The Big Bang Theory

Last Monday's episode of The Big Bang Theory was awesome. My brother¹ and I were laughing hysterically -- especially at the part when Sheldon was getting a ride home from Wolowitz on his motorcycle. *laughs out loud* Oh man, Sheldon's face was freaking hilarious! x'D roflmao! *wipes tears of laughter* I know I've already mentioned this, but Sheldon is my favorite character! *grin*

It's no surprise to me that I forgot to write in my blog, but I really did make an attempt to try. It's just by the time my shows end, it's late and yeah, I don't have a real excuse, but I'm not going to give up. I'm very stubborn and determined, and I will make this work one way or another. I'm sure that no one is going to be reading my blog, other than my brother ¹, but please don't give up on me! I tried writing the blog during commercials, but it didn't work out. I may post later today, but I don't blame you if you if you doubt that, but like I said, I'm stubborn, and I'm not giving up.

You know, I really wanted to write in my blog, but I was feeling sick, and when I get sick, I get tired and lazy. *sheepish* I'm feeling fine now, but I'm berating myself for not writing in my blog -- especially since I saw the best episode of NCIS ever! *laughs* Not to mention a great episode of House and The Mentalist. Oh, and let's not forget Bones. Oh wait, I can't write about Bones because it wasn't even on! Nope. Guess what was on instead? A Baseball game. I'm not into watching baseball games on TV -- I like to actually be there where all the excitement happens. Anyways, I was really upset, because Bones is so freaking awesome and baseball... it's not as awesome. *sigh* And I was also looking forward to watching Private Practice too, but apparently the Debate is more important. *scoffs* Well, I'll be posting my reviews on tonight's new episodes of The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, and Heroes tomorrow, if not tonight. Most likely tomorrow though.

Yesterday.
Heroes.

Sylar is my favorite character!
I love everything that is happening in Heroes. All of these characters are changing so much, and most of them are not the same 'Heroes' from the first and second seasons. Especially Peter!
Peter Petrelli has changed in all three seasons. He used to be my number one favorite character, but now he's my second favorite, and the totally awesome Sylar is now my favorite.
Sylar. I love the fact that Sylar is a Petrelli! I especially love that he is no longer a villain.
I can't believe that Hiro killed Ando! D: What the heck!? I thought Hiro... I mean... argh! Hiro was the character that changed the least. The only minor thing that has changed was when he went to the future and found out that Ando betrayed him... oh, wait a minute... Ando was in the future, but present Hiro could not have known he was going to kill Ando, so does that mean that Ando isn't dead?! *gasp*
Oh man, I don't like Claire. I have nothing to say about her. *sheepish*
HRG! I don't like him, but I love how everyone refers to him as HRG. ^^;;
Mohinder used to be my brother's¹ favorite character, but not anymore. He never was my favorite, but he's definitely gone down on my list. He has turned into a monster, literally and figuratively.
I'm so excited to find out what's going to happen! I mean, in last night's episode, we find out that Lindermen is not really there, even though we kind of knew that. We knew that only Nathan could see him. But now we know that Daphne can see him too. Weird, right? Then we find out that Lindermen is only a vision planted there by this character who wants to build an army. And the Puppetmaster! This isn't good for the characters, but it's definitely good for anyone watching this show, because Heroes is like a drug! It's so addicting! I mean, it's Heroes isn't bad for you, but the events going on are not good for the characters, but I want to keep watching. Does that make any sense? Well, if I was less hungry, and not eager to stop writing because of the fact that I'm hungry, I think this post would have been more clear, and easier to understand. I might post more on Heroes if I'm bored, but I just really wanted to get this post out.
